The name “Songa” were taken from Madura vocabulary, which means river. Songa was born in 1999 from a youth group who are creative and love adventure, Songa wanted to give contribution to the nation in education, nature conservation and economic empowerment.
Our vision is “ be the largest natural tourism organizers and professional education in Indonesia ”. To achieve our vision we have 3 (three) major missions: (1) Carrying out activities that are educational, training and human resource development. (2) Perform a variety of efforts to participate and pioneering nature conservation activities. (3) Trying such a way that our presence is useful and have value for economic empowerment. This is in line with the philosophy of the river itself that contains the meaning of " never give up, nor defeat, and achieve our goal. "
To maintain the commitment itself, Songa as the pioneer of white water rafting in the East Java always keep the adventure programs contains education and entertainment aspects (Adventure'n edutainment).
Moreover, the river that we managed have historical value. Pekalen River is famous for the story The Prabu Wuruk and Mahapatih Gajah Mada that in fact ever stopped by, and the legend of The Queen Dewi Rengganis ever build a palace before fleeing to Mount Argopuro.
